Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Cemetery

The Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Church and Cemetery, located on 95 Shiloh Rd, Asheville, NC, has been a major part of the Shiloh community in Buncombe County since its establishment in the late 1860s or 1870s. After the community's change of location in 1889, the current Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Cemetery was created. At that time, the bodies of deceased loved ones within the community were moved from their prior location to the new cemetery; however the information on their precise location and identities was lost. Since then, many other relatives and loved ones have been layed to rest in the Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Cemetery.

Below is a map showing the location of the Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Cemetery.
